About me

Sometimes day to day life can feel exhausting, overwhelming and with no end in sight. It might be filled with anxiety or low mood, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem. Counselling offers you a confidential space where you can feel supported, heard, safe, and free from judgement. We can explore any issues you may have, work through them together, look at new ways of being, and empower you to make positive change.

I am a qualified therapist working mainly with Person-Centred Theory which focuses on how you think and feel in the here and now. You are the expert in your own life, you hold the answers and by working together, we can explore what those might be. I have experience working with but not limited to, depression, anxiety, addiction and bereavement.

If any of the feelings I have described sound familiar, then please get in contact with me. I can offer an initial phone consultation which enables me to understand the issues you are facing, and I hope it will give you an idea of whether you feel I am the right counsellor for you too.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
