About me

Hello and welcome to my profile here on the counselling directory. I am an experienced counsellor and I provide a calm space for emotional support, exploration and growth.

Whatever brought you here, if you need to talk, you've already taken the first step by seeking support. I can help you unravel complicated, confusing thoughts and feelings and untangle your troubles in a safe, professional space without judgement.

How I Help

I work with you to address issues with emotional support and non-judgemental listening. Therapy is person-centred and non-directive with other theoretical and practical elements according to your preferences and individual needs.

Mindfulness and meditation, and theories like focusing and CBT can be additional empowering elements to aid the therapeutic process.

Person-centred approach acknowledges our natural tendency to reach toward the most effective state of being and provides a catalyst for constructive change by working with this natural tendency. This approach has been proven to be effective through many years of research including a broader positive impact on society.

With over 5 years experience providing counselling, I operate a well-established private counselling practice in Manchester, 2talk Counselling, where I have been helping clients since 2013. If you need 2talk, get in touch to arrange a consultation or to ask any questions.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
