There are times when we all need support.
Sometimes, it helps to air our issues with an objective and trained individual who can help to see things from a different angle.
Sometimes we need space and time to think things through or sometimes, things can get a little overwhelming and seeking support to get through it, can be helpful.
Sometimes, being listened to and being seen can in itself be healing; I am here to listen and provide a pressure free space for you.
How I work and How it May Benefit You:
As an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist we look at your current situation or symptom and if open to it, explore childhood/early life experience to connect to root cause or issue that is bothering you. Often, long buried thoughts and feelings bubble up, sometimes unexpectedly and may cause anxiety disorder and or depression - shining a light on these can be enormously insightful as to how we live today, how we approach relationships and establish negative patterns.
As therapy is not linear, I believe in adopting a creative and flexible approach. Together we can discuss the best approach for you.
Options Available to you:
I offer short and longer term/open ended term counselling and introduce long term strategies to better cope with what life brings. My sessions are weekly, ideally at the same time, with regular reviews.
Either way, it will be a collaborative and I hope an energising and enriching experience.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
