Katie Ship FdA MBACP
An experienced counselling practitioner working with adults from my Guildford and Farnham practices, I draw upon my specialist training to offer you a bespoke and personal therapy plan for you, as my client.
Qualified in 2008, I am in private practice in Guildford and Farnham and have experience in working in GP surgeries, with young people and with single parents. I am also working for the NHS as a qualified IAPT practitioner.
I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation if you’d like to see how we might work together. I also offer concessions for students.
As a counsellor, my role is to provide you with a confidential opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a warm, open and non-judgemental environment. My training enables me to draw on different ways of working in order to suit your own personal style and needs.
I am a Humanistic counsellor and I work in a person-centred way also using transactional analysis and solution focused brief therapy where applicable. I provide face to face, one to one counselling for adults.
I am a member of the BACP and am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework.
