About me
Coming to therapy, especially for the first time, can feel daunting. I aim to provide a space for all thoughts and feelings to be explored freely, safely, and without judgement. I'm here to offer a supportive environment where you can get to know yourself deeply.
Everyone goes through difficult times in life, but sometimes our familiar ways of coping become less effective and we can find ourselves stuck in a rut; feeling, thinking, and acting in ways that have become unmanageable or overwhelming. Therapy can be helpful for exploring why old patterns aren't serving us anymore and it can help us develop new ways to carry ourselves forward.
I'm an integrative relational therapist which means I draw on several approaches in my work and I'm interested in all aspects of relationships. I can help you explore childhood roots and family history, alongside relationships in your life currently. I encourage reflection on the relationship you have with yourself, and the one between us. I'm interested in the relationship you have with the world around you, where you find yourself culturally and how you feel about your place in the world.
I work from a trauma-informed perspective which means that therapy will be steadily paced. I'm always curious and mindful about how the things we explore in sessions feel in the here and now for you. I endeavour to facilitate an environment where sameness and difference can be safely explored, and it is my intention to work from an anti-discriminatory position.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre in London, one of Europe’s leading psychotherapy training institutes, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I have been working with clients since 2018, in low-cost and charity settings, as well as in private practice.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
