About me

I am a practising counsellor and psychotherapist, situated in the village of Brockham, covering surrounding areas Reigate, Dorking, Tadworth, Epsom, Redgill, Horsham, Guildford and am close to the M25.

I work with both individual adults (18+) and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed limited of time, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I am committed to provide counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I am a member of the BACP and I adhere to their Ethical Framework.

My practice is located at the beautiful and calm Tillow Barn Health and Wellbeing Centre, Brockham within easy reach of Betchworth, Dorking, Reigate, Horley, Epsom, Tadworth, Horsham, Guildford and it is within easy reach of the M25 and has ample parking on site.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at NESCOT and completed a DipHE in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited by Greenwich University, I am also MBACP registered.

I attend weekly supervision and regular CPD events to maintain a high standard of service and care.

I am experienced in helping clients through counselling and psychotherapy both in the private sector and within a charity organisation.

I have had experience in long-term work, time-limited, couples and organisations.

I offer a holistic approach, blended together to suit each client's individual needs. The areas of counselling and therapy I am experienced in are Psychodynamic, CBT, Integrative, Humanistic and Relational.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Fees

Counselling and Psychotherapy Assessment - 1.5 hours: £90.00

One-to-one Weekly Psychotherapy - 50 minutes: £70.00

Couples Therapy - 1.5 hours: £100.00

Couples Therapy - 50 minutes: £80.00

One-to-one Psychotherapy Telephone Session - 50 minutes: £70.00

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs.
