About me

I will work with you to not only find answers but find freedom within your external and internal world. It would be a  privilege to support you on your path to wellness.

Are you feeling like your life is at a crossroads? You may want to dig a hole or confused at which turning to take. Life can be overwhelming and cause such emotional blocks.  I have faith that  through the therapeutic process you have  potential and power to overcome whatever obstacles you are faced with in your life.

As an  integrative  LGBTQI+ counsellor I   believe in the multiplicity of ‘self’; where I invite all your different needs and parts to therapy. I  have a neurodiverse and multicultural background and  bring over 30 years experience in personal development and creative practice. As such I utalise the mind body connection and give you powerful tools to help sooth and regulate emotional discomfort.  My approach is rooted in empathy, respect and insight. This  enables me to support  you with openness and kindness and gently guide and facilitate your process .

The focus of  therapy is a collaborative, supportive, and  a tailored experience—both within our sessions and in your life beyond them.

I work both online and  face to face at my private practice in peaceful  garden therapy  room setting in the rural idle of Pevensey.

My Experience

i have worked in the field of  eco-therapy and  humanistic personal development for the last 30 years. The key themes that I have helped people from all walks of life are linked to loss, identity, belonging and finding 'true self'  by breaking away from limited beliefs and traumatic experiences.

Working with loss in relationships   is  a non-linear process and  I will support you in your darkest moments to find solice, comfort and light.

I have worked extensively,  with children and Young people  through the creative arts and nature to increase self-esteem.

My Approach

I integrate humanistic therapeutic modalities, informed by internal family systems and am a somatic trauma practitioner. Sessions are  tailored  to meet your unique needs and healing journey.

While talking therapy is at the core of building trust with you and truly being seen without judgment, my expertise in somatic practices can; .

Change Beliefs– Helping adults rewrite and release deep-seated trauma and limiting beliefs.
Trauma Healing – Using gentle, effective techniques to process past experiences in a safe and supportive way.
Empowering Change – Supporting you in shifting old patterns and creating a more positive, freeing mindset.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), ensuring I work within their strict ethical framework. I commit to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision, so you can feel confident that your therapy is safe, ethical, and of the highest standard.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
