About me

Welcome to my profile!

I am an experienced counsellor. I base my work on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy combined with Gestalt, Transactional Analysis’s, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Person Centred approach. Using a combination of these approaches in theory makes me a humanistic integrative counsellor,  however it is not scientific theories and big words that are the key to my successful client work.

What will really make you feel better is the experience of safe and confidential space, in which you will thrive on the unconditional acceptance and understanding that you will receive. Therapy is an opportunity to learn to build a healthy relationship, sometimes for the first time.

If you are truly ready to be honest with yourself I will give you the support and equip you with the right tools to get to know yourself and make the choice as to who you want to become.

Seeing my clients thrive in therapy and move on to thrive in their personal lives is the most fulfilling aspect of my work. Working towards this final pay off feeds my passion to provide highly effective therapeutic service and to constantly develop myself so I too, continuously strive to become the best possible version of myself.

I am experienced in helping adults and young people over the age of 12 across a wide range of problems including: Abuse, Addiction(s), Anger Management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Coping with illness or Disability, Depression, Lack of Motivation, Low Mood, Low self-esteem, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Attacks, Phobias, Relationship issues, Stress and Work related issues.

I work from three locations: Boscombe BH7, Poole BH12 and Bournemouth BH11.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
