Karolina Bridgen MBACP MSc (Hons) BSc (Hons) Dip Couns
I understand that life can at times be challenging, and it can be difficult to work things out by yourself. Finding the courage to talk to family and friends can be even more so. This is when talking to a professional counsellor can really help you.
I have been a Counsellor for more than five years, which has given me the privilege to witness incredible growth in clients, allowing them to move forward with better self-confidence and acceptance. I work in an integrative way, based on Person-Centred and CBT approaches. My work is based in compassion, helping people become more resilient and accepting of self and the world around them.
COVID-19 has brought a new normal to the way we live our lives. Thankfully we have the technology to provide online and telephone sessions, which offer opportunities to experience compassion, acceptance and healing in a similar way face-to-face sessions would. I am an experienced psychotherapist, both face-to-face, online and via telephone and I able to meet your support needs at this unusual time.
I can offer you a safe, confidential and welcoming environment where you can express your feelings, attitudes and beliefs openly and freely without fear of judgement.
We will work together, at your pace, exploring your emotions, worries and experiences. I will be there alongside you, as you move forward in a direction that is right for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
