Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? Taking the first step to seek support is a brave and courageous decision. You don't have to face your struggles alone. We all need help from time to time, and I'm here to offer you the support and guidance you need to navigate through these difficult times.
I'm Karolina, a BACP registered therapist and NCPS Accredited Member offering a collaborative approach to help individuals aged 16 and above. Through a safe and non-judgmental space, we'll work together to explore your experiences, overcome challenges, and find the life you want to live. I specialise in supporting clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma using a flexible approach based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
My goal is to empower you to become your own therapist, harnessing your strengths to navigate life's challenges.
With unconditional acceptance and a focus on your unique needs, we'll work towards improving your mental well-being and quality of life. Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
Taking the first step towards seeking counselling can be daunting, but please know that you are not alone. I am here to support you on your journey to better mental health and well-being. The next step is to reach out and contact me. Together, we can discuss your needs and determine how I can best help you.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as my main approach to providing support for my clients.
CBT helps you learn more helpful ways of thinking and reacting in everyday situations. By changing the way you think and what you do, you can begin to feel better.
Unlike some other talking therapies, CBT focuses on your current challenges rather than on your past experiences. It aims to improve your state of mind by teaching you to spot the links between your thoughts, actions, and feelings. This approach empowers you to take control of your thoughts and reactions, leading to positive changes in your life.
In our sessions, you will work closely with me to identify new ways of dealing with problems and set achievable goals for what you want to change. Through this collaborative process, you'll gain valuable tools and strategies to manage your mental health and improve your overall well-being.
CBT can be incredibly successful in helping you feel more in control of your life. By focusing on the present and learning to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours, you can experience lasting improvements in your mental health and quality of life.
Throughout our work together, I will provide a supportive, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. We'll celebrate your progress and work through any setbacks together, ensuring that you have the support and guidance you need to achieve your goals and lead a happier, more fulfilling life.
