About me

Hello and Welcome to my Counselling Profile

There is no doubt that our mental health is so important especially in these uncertain times. Addressing issues that affect our emotional well being is not always easy but exploring unresolved issues can provide us with coping techniques and a greater understanding of our individual needs and preferences to moving forward towards a more positive mental health.

I firmly believe that therapy should be available outside of the normal working day so offer a very flexible appointment schedule and a reduced fee to those who may be on a lower income, N.H.S and Blue Light Staff . No long waiting lists so I can guarantee an online appointment within 2 weeks from first initial contact.

I am qualified to work with those who present with a range of issues such as bereavement , sexual abuse, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression and other issues that at times can be overwhelming especially if you feel alone or unable to talk to those close to you.

It is hoped that together we are able to explore both your current situation and emotions you may be experiencing. Therapy can provide you with your own personal coping strategies to enable a positive move forward at your own pace.

I have counselling rooms that have a safe, secure, confidential and calming environment but I am also available for telephone and online counselling via Face-time, Zoom or Skype. I am qualified for practice and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and as such work within the B.A.C.P. ethical framework for the counselling professions. I also have regular monthly supervision from a qualified counselling supervisor in accordance within the B.A.C.P. Ethical framework.

I have a calm down to earth manner and work with both an Empathic and Non Judgmental approach. I offer a professional and confidential service.

We would normally meet weekly however, this is dependent to your own requirements. We will review the work we are doing at regular intervals allowing a chance to discuss how the therapeutic relationship is progressing.

If you wish to contact me to find out more about the service I offer please contact me either by text, phone or email.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
