Diploma Integrative counselling MNCS (Accred)

About me

My name is Karen Williams I am an integrative counsellor who believes everyone has the right to lead a happy life. I also believe that this is achievable if a person is given the appropriate environment to learn about themselves and how to deal with life’s challenging circumstances. Through genuine inquiry and exploring your emotion being together we can rebuild a new view to life.  A safe environment being a crucial factor in how effective any therapy can be so it is this I hold with greatest value.

I have great faith in human emotional strength and I am always humbled to work with people to achieve a supporting therapy session.

My main counselling address is Henrietta's Hall  (SA13 2PD)  It has easy access from M4 with plenty of free parking.
I am also developing a link with Llanharan drop in centre but access here is up steep stairs.
I am willing to source a community centre or any appropriate accommodation subject to availability.

I charge;

£40 per hour
£30 for Students                                                                                                                  £25 Telephone counselling

I also offer a discounted price for trainee counsellors.

Training, qualifications & experience

I commenced my studies in 2006 when I attended an introduction to counselling in Bridgend College.  I gained life's experiences as a working mum, a Samaritan, a foster mum and a volunteer counsellor with Ty Elis counselling in Porthcawl. I have a diploma in therapeutic counselling and believe in continuous learning through experience and reflection. I believe everyone has unique experiences and being an integrative counsellor helps me be flexible in my counselling approach.
