I offer a warm friendly counselling service from my private practice in a safe confidential environment within easy reach of the A4 in Thatcham, with ample free parking.
I work with clients who have many issues including struggling with anxiety, depression, work related stress, low self esteem and confidence.
Your sessions are time just for you. Counselling provides a safe and supportive space for you to be yourself, without judgement or criticism. Where we can work together to find your own answers and own truth away from the confusion of everyday life in a safe space.
I provide both solution-focused time limited counselling and longer-term therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
In addition to my counselling qualifications and experience, I also have corporate experience and qualifications, having worked as a Business Risk and Compliance Director in the Finance sector for many years.
• BA (Hons) Degree in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling to be completed by July 2018
• Advanced Diploma in CBT to be completed by June 2018
• Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB)
• Certificate of Proficiency – BACP
• Bereavement Care Level 2
• CPCAB - Therapeutic Counselling (QCF)
• Open University - Therapeutic Counselling
I have worked in private practice for several years, and gained experience for a broad range of clients in a wide variety of settings which include:

• Cruse Bereavement Support – West Berkshire
• Employee Assistance Programme Counsellor for three Insurers.

Starting counselling may feel daunting, so I offer an initial half-hour appointment for £20.00 to establish if we can work together and I can answer any questions you might have.
If you then decide to continue with your sessions you can either book a block of sessions or chose to continue on a week by week basis.
How much does counselling cost?
An initial session costs £20.00 and last for 30 minutes.
Following sessions are £45.00 per session, these sessions last for 50 minutes.
Do you offer concessions or low cost sessions?
Student rates are £35.00 per session and includes any reports required by the training provider.
In addition there are a limited number of low cost slots available, please contact me for details.
How do I pay for a counselling session?
Sessions can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Payment is to be made at the end of each session.
