Karen Lawley MBACP Reg.

About me

I have spent a majority of my career working with clients struggling with addictions and the underlying issues that can trigger this, i.e. abuse, self esteem, personality disorders, behavioural issues, depression and anxiety.

I am calm, grounded and insightful and I believe people can be empowered to find their own answers in life with the trust and support of a professional counsellor.

If you are finding it difficult to cope with life, going round and round in circles, I will support, encourage, challenge, while never judging you to help you find your way back onto the right path. I believe that people must understand and acknowledge their past in order to deal with the impact this has on their life in the here and now.

Deciding to engage in a therapeutic relationship is not an easy decision, with the right therapist the rewards are immense and life changing.
