About me

Are you feeling anxious, depressed or suffering from burnout?

Do you feel overwhelmed, exhausted or sad?

  • Are you finding life really hard and constantly feeling low, anxious and stuck? Do you want to change the way you feel?

Hello, I'm a person-centred counsellor with 16 years experience and specialise in anxiety and depression. Living with anxiety/depression is exhausting and in your sessions we can talk together and explore in order for you to process any thoughts, feelings, difficult or traumatic experiences you've been through. I will gently support you to challenge and reframe negative thoughts or views you have about yourself, your past and any fears about your future.

  • The aim is to help you feel calmer, confident and more self-aware so that you can move forward with your life and have a better relationship with yourself and others' around you.
  • Prehaps you may want to find some self-care or coping strategies that can help you through life or I can support you find goals you wish to acheive.
  • I believe all the answers are within you, we just need to find them.
  • You can stay in therapy as long as you need, there's no time limit.

Please call, text or send a message if you'd like a 15 minute introductory call or to book in a sesson.

Do you have a chronic illness/health condition? I have lived experience and a special interest in this area and I can support you to live a better life with chronic pain or fatigue.

  • We can talk through and process the loss of your identity, the old you, and any anger and sadness you're feeling. Help you to feel less isolated and accept your illness. This will help you to find a new zest for life and help you to achieve the things you want in the future.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
