About me

A very warm welcome and thank you for visiting my profile.

From a very young age onwards, I experienced very traumatic life events. This resulted in myself having therapy for many years. When I was nearing the end of my therapy and as part of my recovery, I was to make some life goals, the first one was to start a college course. So I started a 6 week short introduction to counselling.

My core belief is no matter what a person experiences in life, how poorly they become there is hope that you can make it through this journey. In my therapy journey, I expected my therapist to give me the solution to my problems and help me get better, that was not how it was. I had the answers within and my therapist was there to facilitate this, and this is how I will help you as the client - you know yourself better than anyone else!

I am a qualified person-centred therapist and life coach, sessions are lead by you so you that have full control of anything you feel you might like to explore, make sense of in regards to your feelings thoughts and emotions. This is your space and time.

As your therapist, I am there to offer you a genuine open ear within a warm, comfortable safe space.  I consider myself to be able to offer you a friendly warm approach.  I do have a good sense of humour (laughter is therapeutic) I am also a down to earth person which I bring to sessions but within a professional manner.

Life coaching is a little different from counselling. I can work alongside you and help you acheive any life goals you may like to work on.  Life goals maybe starting a new buisness, healthier lifestyle, fitness, career change ECT ECT. No goal is too big or small.  It's your goal. Life coaching can help you form a plan of action. Together we can look at any blockages and what to do if you loose track. Again the way I work with you is very person centred. Youl be fully in charge right through the journey. I'll be there to encourage, keep you positive and help with staying motivated. You've got this. Life is too short.  Why wait for tomorrow to start planning your dreams when you can start today.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
