About me

Hi, I'm Karen and whatever brings you here today; whether it be depression, anxiety, feeling sad, troubled or unhappy, I can offer you an alternative way of counselling. I work outside in nature, as I believe it gives a more relaxed approach when talking through your difficulties. This takes place in an open space that is safe and confidential, where we can go for a walk, or even find a place to sit.

My goal is to help you make changes so you can live a life where you feel more content and fulfilled.

So, why do I counsel in nature?  Well, I have always incorporated outside activities as part of my therapeutic work and having witnessed the benefits experienced by clients, I decided to take all of my work into the great outdoors.

Nature aids anxiety, stress, tension, and enhances mental and general well-being. It decreases feelings of anger, stress, lifts moods, lowers blood pressure, heart rate, and eases muscle tension.

If you think I could help you, or you would like to find out more about how I work, please get in touch. It can be quite daunting to make contact but I will do my best to make the process as easy as possible. Counselling really can help you discover freedom and it starts with a simple chat.

I hope you find what you are looking for.
