About me

Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Kamila and I am a fully qualified, Integrative Therapist working via online and phone. I offer a Personal Therapy Service for a variety of issues where everyone is welcome. This can be on a long, medium or short-term basis. The choice is yours.

My approach is warm and down-to-earth. We can collaboratively create a space where you can feel free to be yourself, together we can discover what it is you most want out of your life and, most importantly how to find it.

I believe that my training as a therapist, along with my personal experience of therapy, have strengthened my understanding and compassion towards anyone dealing with life's many challenges.

You may be struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, grief or major life changes. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or stuck? Is it difficult to confide your worries and feelings with those around you? Be it a present matter or an unresolved pain from the past, I may be able to help.

The way in which we work together will be unique, as each individual brings their own complexities, needs and aspirations. These needs are often fluid and changeable.

As an integrative practitioner, I am able to draw on a range of approaches that suit the person you are and the difficulties you present with. For example we might be:

  • Exploring how your Past is affecting your Present.
  • Learning new ways of coping that are Productive and not Destructive.
  • Dealing with loss of Identity and Direction.
  • Working towards Increasing Confidence levels.
  • Looking at your Relationship with Yourself

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
