About me

Are you experiencing flashbacks, anxiety, panic attacks,  anger issues, or have been diagnosed with PTSD?
Do you have phobias or fears that would not allow you to live your life fully?
Do you suffer from depression or emotional pain from the breakup?

Who I am

HI! My name is Juna Brookes. I am a BACP-accredited counselor,  EMDR therapist, psychotherapist, and Hypnotherapist.

I Help people to be free from their suffering by using my extensive knowledge, skills, and training.

My speciality

I specialize in PTSD/trauma and anxiety treatments.

I help my clients to let go and be free from the traumatic incidents of their past.

My business: I run a full-time, 5-star successful small therapy business and I always give my best to focus on the positive results for my clients. I put my heart and soul into my work and give my all to my clients.

How do I work:

The first step is our initial assessment consultation (over zoom or face-to-face) session where I would get a picture of what is it you would like to achieve from the therapy and what specific program and techniques I would use to help you achieve the desired results.

The next step would be a commitment of four or five sessions.  Those sessions will be carefully chosen and tailored to the needs of my clients.  I mostly use a combination of EMDR, counselling, and Hypnotherapy to get the fastest and best results for my clients.

Location:

My therapy room is located in a quiet area of Horsforth LS 18

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
