About me

Welcome to my Profile. The rapid spread of the virus that causes COVID-19 has sparked alarm worldwide and I know that many people are feeling challenged in many different ways. I am offering Facetime/Zoom/WhatsApp sessions so that people do not need to travel to see me.

I am a BACP/UKRCP Accredited Psychotherapist & Counsellor as well as a Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist COSRT Accred. adhering to their Code of Ethics working both in the short and long-term. I also am a Trauma Therapist working with individuals suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and also use EMDR as part of my work depending on my clients needs and wants.

Psychotherapy is a journey that is different for everyone and therefore for each person it is a trek into unchartered territory. My commitment to you is to walk alongside you without judgement for as long as you need, I offer you the opportunity to be heard and supported as you explore who you are and what is getting in the way of you being all that you aspire to be.

Are you struggling with managing your anger or other feelings? Are you suffering with your emotions due to a bereavement, mid life changes, work issues, depression, anxiety, abuse, post traumatic stress or relationship difficulties? Are you trying to manage psychosexual issues such as lack of desire, sexual shame, erectile difficulties or performance anxiety?  Do you feel betrayed, angry, sad, lost, confused, hurt, frightened or struggling with shame, guilt or low self esteem? Is there a part of you that would like support - a place to explore yourself in a confidential and supportive environment? I believe that change is possible for everyone open to that possibility. Having been involved in this work for over twenty years working with both individuals and couples of all ages I see no problem as insurmountable and no pain that cannot, with time and patience, be worked through and alieviated.

I work with individuals, couples as well as family members & friends. I am trained to work with people from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of difficulties. I know how daunting it is to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with and am available to answer any questions or concerns you may have by telephone in order to try and support you in making the right decision for you.

For individuals or couples who are in crisis I can offer intensive periods of time over several hours in one day, or over one or two days - for further information on this please contact me to talk it through.

For further information about myself with testimonials please visit my website - the details are listed above.

I am based in Chelsea and am easily accessible from Knightsbridge, Parsons Green, Fulham, Earls Court, NottingHill Gate, Marble Arch, Westbourne Grove, Kensington, Gloucester Road, South Kensington, Pimlico as well as Clapham, Wandsworth and Putney.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
