My service is available for individuals who are experiencing or have experienced dependency with drugs and alcohol.
I work in alliance with persons who maybe struggling with a variety of emotional difficulties that may involve experiences such as:- Destructive patterns -addiction and self harm. Anxiety and Panic attacks, loss and bereavement, depression, anger problems, confidence and self esteem, self worth and issues of identity.
I'm a human hearth in which you will feel supported to express yourself and come to understand that well-being, happiness and joy are the basis of the life you are meant to lead.
Training, qualifications & experience
Counselling Skills Level 2, Counselling studies Level 3. Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Training in Drug misuse and dependence, psychology of vision, How the impact of drugs and alcohol affect the relationship with family and friends. 5 step family approach supporting family members affected by addiction. Creative approaches to counselling. Understanding intimacy and relationship, and working with men who have experienced domestic abuse.
I have worked in the field of addiction for approximately 8 years and currently work as a Counselling Coordinator and Volunteer lead for a well known charity.
