Julie Vale MBACP(reg) supervisor and counsellor
When you are struggling with difficult issues you need someone who is sensitive, non judgmental and able to help. I am a qualified, registered, BACP, ACC accredited, experienced counsellor of 20 years and also an experienced, qualified supervisor. I have a private counselling room (parking available and on bus route from Glos, on Hereford, Monmouth border)) I see individual clients, couples or families for therapy. My background is in social work and I was also a foster carer for a while.
I work Integratively and have training in CBT, art therapy, family counselling, working with children. I also work with issues around spirituality.
I have helped people with anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship problems including couple work, abuse, anger management and stress issues.
Clients feedback they find me a non judgemental, empathic listener who helps them gain insight into how to deal with issues.
I have managed an organisation which counsels young people and families for 10 years. I am also a qualified and experienced trainer and cover issues such as anger management, parenting and relationships.
My charges are reasonable and I usually help people within 6 to 12 sessions, I don't believe in prolonging counselling unnecessarily, though if longer term work is needed I'm happy to provide that too. The aim is to help you understand the issues and move on successfully.
I have a recent DBS check available and my charges are reasonable ( below average)
