About me

There is an incredible power and intelligence within you. Your mind is not in control, you are in control of your mind. It’s a matter of learning how to do it. You can stop thinking those old negative thoughts and when you do, you align yourself with your inner power and intelligence.

When you see adversity as a journey to growth, you are looking through the compassionate eye of the spirit. Then you find acceptance and you are no longer a victim. Learn to look through the compassionate eye of the spirit and you will find beauty, truth and healing.

I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I provide bespoke support to achieve your goals. My approach is humanistic (I help you find your own path). And I am empathic and non-judgemental. We can also look into how the past can hold you back and make changes to destructive patterns.

I am a professional Artist with 40 years of experience. If it is easier for you to articulate on paper, rather than finding the words, I can offer Creative Arts Therapy as an alternative.

I work with nature and its environment. I have built an Off-Grid Retreat and this is an ideal location for Ecotherapy sessions. Ecotherapy can also be practiced in the Therapy room, exploring how you connect with your environment.

Together we can find a way to access your intuition, finding your faith and inner wisdom. With this inner strength, you can face your fears and discover how to live life to its fullest. Or maybe you need to find meaning and purpose, we can look at that too.

Amongst the many ‘tools’ I have available to you, is meditation. It helps you slow down thoughts so they can be identified. There are many forms of meditation. If this doesn’t work for you, there are many other ways to achieve the same goal. Let’s see what is right for you.

Mindfulness is beneficial, as you can pay attention to what is really going on inside, (as opposed to what should be going on or what we would like to be going on). I can help you to be able to catch the generally unnoticed crippling negative beliefs which can sometimes come from outside influences.

Visualisation is a creative way to replace negative thoughts with new patterns.

This work brings clarity, acceptance and space for new, empowering thoughts.

I have empathy for your feelings. I also know that, with determination, you can work through painful patterns and gain your peace of mind.

I would love to help you find joy and freedom in your life.

You may think there are impossible hurdles at the moment, but the harder your life, the more you have been trusted by the universe to break through and live a great life.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
