I am an counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist and I am able to tailor my sessions to suit your needs. Amongst other things I work with the following -

I use a combination of Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies and can tailor the session for your individual needs. I can assist you to make positive changes. You will be supported to find new insights and meanings to past and present issues.
I offer both long term counselling and short term therapy.

People can often hold unconscious issues and negative beliefs about themselves, through past negative conditioning. These beliefs can sometimes be hard to shift on a conscious level. Under hypnosis the analytical left side of the brain is switched off whilst the non analytical right side is brought to the forefront, where positive suggestions can be installed. These new ideas filter back to the conscious mind affecting changes required.
Along with past negative conditions, we may also have to endure the devastating blows life can deal us. This can often lead to stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, fears, phobias, low self esteem, insomnia, relationship issues, sexual problems and many medical conditions, including chronic pain and fatigue.
Hypnotherapy can be an extremely effective tool to re programme patterns of behaviour in the mind. Anyone with a desire to be hypnotised can be. It is important to remember all hypnosis is self hypnosis, the hypnotherapist is merely the facilitator. No one can go into a trance against their will, or be made to do anything they do not want to.
Using hypnotherapy is one of the best ways to create general relaxation and calmness, dispelling anxiety within the mind and body, so it is extremely effective for alleviating exam nerves, interview anxieties, women's fears around giving birth or coping as a mother. It can help dispel many fears or phobias we can often hold.
A free copy of the recording is given each session to be listened to in between sessions and beyond to compound all suggestions in the unconscious mind which can help to speed up, or affirm, changes required.
Through my extensive work with clients I discovered, with some, counselling alone was not always enough to get to the root of the problem and affect changes needed. Interspersed with hypnotherapy it brought desired results. In the same sense using purely hypnotherapy often does not always give the space some people need to explore and uncover deep seated problems.
I can use a combination of Integrative counselling and hypnotherapy tailored to your requirements which can be a very effective treatment covering all areas needed for lasting change.
