Welcome to my profile. I provide accepting, supportive and confidential therapy for my clients. My counselling training and approach is integrative, which means that I use various theoretical methods. This depends upon a client's individual needs during counselling.
My practice is based in Aston on Trent, very near to Derby (South Derbyshire) and easily accessible from junction 24 of the M1 and the A50. My counselling room is located on the first floor. Parking is available.

I believe that a respectful therapeutic relationship recognises that a client is the expert on their life and their needs, but at certain times, it is valuable and helpful to seek counselling to receive additional support to improve insight and gain a deeper understanding.
Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked for the NHS as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Nurse. Prior to this, I worked in marketing for a major retailer. Both of these careers have given me a broad understanding of difficult, stressful and life changing events that people often experience.
