About me

I am an experienced registered Clinical Psychologist who provides psychological therapy, consultation, training and workshops. I understand that life can bring a number of challenges and there are many reasons why people may choose to seek therapy. I provide specialist support to help people with a range of difficulties such as, stress, anxiety, trauma, low mood or adjustment difficulties. I work in a holistic way that takes into account your values, beliefs and culture in addition to providing you with evidenced-based skills, techniques and resources.

I work integratively, which means I am skilled in a range of psychological approaches, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Narrative approaches.

Starting therapy can often be a difficult decision. I ensure that I offer a safe, warm, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can make sense of any current or past difficulties and develop internal resources to make positive changes in your life. I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation call where we can explore how best to support your needs.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
