About me
Hi, and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I feel so lucky that I am still able to support my clients through this difficult time by moving to online sessions. And for many it’s even more convenient than face to face counselling because there’s no travel, no parking just counselling in the comfort of your own home.
If you’re having a tough time at the moment and could do with some extra support, call or email me to see how I can help.
I have a lot of natural warmth and empathy, I'm very approachable and offer a non judgemental environment, confidentiality and flexibility.
Anxiety and depression, low mood, constant worrying, feeling sad and even panic attacks are more common than we think and are normal human reactions for various reasons and events. They are often a result of loss of some sort. Loss of control, of childhood, of innocence, loss of identity, loss of freedom, of a business, of a relationship, of self esteem, a home, finances, a loved one, of control over a situation.... right now we are all feeling loss in some way.
The fact that I am qualified and experienced in 3 types of therapy means I am able to help with any of these issues whether they are from the past, as far back as childhood, or in the present, or are causing anxiety about the future.
Im a member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists meaning I work in line with a good ethical framework and see a supervisor monthly (confidentiality ensured) to make sure Im working within the guidelines and keeping both you, and myself, safe at all times.
It's my mission to take my commitment to and responsibility for you seriously, to help you move forward in the best way possible for you, so please get in touch either by email or phone, leave a message and I'll get straight back to you for a friendly informal chat.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I see my clients as often and for as long as they feel necessary.
I will try to set appointments to suit you and rearrange where possible, however I appreciate as much notice as possible if this is the case as I can then offer the session to other clients.
I look forward to hearing from you, and to meeting you (online for now!)
Warm Regards
