About me

Lotus Bereavement Therapy

As a Humanistic person centred Therapist with over ten years experience. My aim is to help clients manage their grief by listening, being non judgemental, being empathetic, congruent, and having a safe environment which they can open up and it being in the strictest confidence.

I offer Humanistic person centred Therapy. I am passionate about helping people heal themselves. I am empathic, validate feelings, and emotions, helping the survivor to adjust to the loss of a loved one and be able to adapt to a new reality.

Bereavement is one of the most devastating things we’ll ever experience and sometimes we need support.

Grief is emotionally painful response to loss. The more significant the loss the more intensely grief is felt. Losses that result in grief include death, divorce, diminishing health, relocating, death of a beloved pet, and broken relationships. Bereavement is totally different for everyone.

I originally trained as an art community tutor, but life lead me to become a Cruse Volunteer, after I had counselling, during a challenging period in my life, and now want to help others.

Qualified & Accredited Member of  the National Counselling& Psychotherapy Society.
I stand by their code of ethics.

I am able to offer afternoon & and early evening appointments face to face. except weekends.
