About me

I have been a qualified Counsellor for over 20 years and have engaged in thousands of Counselling sessions.

In that time, I have encountered all kinds of human difficulty, and have always done my utmost to help.

I offer genuine warmth and empathy and aim to create trust between us where you can feel safe enough to take the mask off, and not be judged.

What I can help with - Anxiety, depression, loss of all kinds, low self-esteem, self-harm and relationship issues. Health related matters and all kinds of pregnancy related problems.

If life feels like it's a muddle and you don't know where to turn, and you want to talk it over with someone who is truly listening, I'll help you all I can.

Having worked in a Palliative Care setting with patients and their families, I understand the difficult journey everyone is on and I will support you at this time.

Bereavement brings its own unique set of feelings which can be very bewildering. Do you need help to come to terms with the death of someone?

I have been a Counsellor in High and feel passionately about helping young people navigate their teenage years.

Types of therapy I offer - Person Centred, Integrative, Cognitive, Neuro Linguistic Programming and solution focussed therapy.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
