I provide a fully confidential online counselling service, treating a range of psychological, emotional, family and workplace/career/business-related issues. I work with individual private and corporate clients from all walks of life and backgrounds to address a diverse range of issues.
I enable people to become fully capable of managing their own emotional distress without having to rely on psychological services long term. To do this I form highly effective therapeutic relationships that are supportive and appropriately challenging, helping you reach your goals and make real and lasting positive changes to your life. I provide practical lifelong tools that you can use to help deal with issues going forward, so you reach a place of empowerment, choice and control over your life, feeling equipped with the skills you need.
I draw on my experience in business prior to becoming a counsellor and psychotherapist, which helps me understand the various demands and dynamics that arise in a wide range of workplace environments.
I am a fully-qualified BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and I adhere to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy code of ethics.
Are there many people in your life but no one you can talk to because you don't want them to feel burdened? Or maybe friends are few and there isn't anyone around to confide in? I can give you time and space to talk about whatever is worrying you.
I can help you develop resilience and personal growth and a sense of choice and control about how you move forward. We will discover your goals and review our work frequently to ensure it meets your needs and expectations.
I consistently see tangible and life-changing results during my work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds with a diverse range of challenging life experiences. I offer a range of counselling approaches to provide the right support to meet your individual needs.
Whilst it can feel daunting to share things for the first time, you may find a sense of relief by getting things off your chest. Living with unresolved problems can be even more distressing and can prevent you from living life fully. Is now the time for that to change?

Meeting online means you can access support from the comfort of wherever you are. With homeworking and employer flexibility, you can access support any time during the day. The only need is for you to have an internet connection and a safe, quiet space for yourself. This could be your home, workplace or abroad if you are away for holiday or business. Online counselling is an ideal way for many people to seek confidential and professional support and is an equally effective way of achieving results as other ways of meeting. Online counselling and coaching via video meetings means we can see and talk to each other as we work together. I have been working in this way for many years through a secure and encrypted video platform for all sessions.

Trainee Counsellors:
I have extensive experience supporting students during their counselling training and I have supervised and developed the practice of counsellors as they enter private practice.
I provide a safe, trusting and wholly empathic space in which to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences both past and present. Working through transferences as they arise within our therapeutic relationship will help you become more aware of the impact of past experiences and relationships on your life today. Being able to explore this openly, honestly, with curiosity and genuineness and without judgement is a fundamental relational aspect of the way I work.
Concessions are available for trainee counsellors at £75 per 50-minute session, fixed for the duration of your training which protects you from any interim fee increases until you have completed your training and are qualified

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
