Are you feeling that your normal calm resolve and knowing about your life, has been shaken? Do you feel off kilter and unable to think clearly and feel positive and purposeful right now? You are not alone.
We allow the hooks of the outside world to latch on and distract us from inner work. This is a critical time right now for us all, as what we believe about our lives is now being tested and shaken to see how robust we really are. This can feel painful.
Finding a way to express your thoughts and release your emotions will give you fortitude to know you can cope and come to some resolution about your issues. Counselling can give you the space to look on your world with a different perspective. We are all bundles of memories, reactions, patterns of energy which can be a blanket of security and safe habits until things unravel. With counselling you can find some resolution as you learn the skills to recognise and maybe change your thought habits; separating them into their constituent parts, making things more manageable.
I am a professionally qualified Integrative Counsellor. My journey to becoming a therapist has been through a variety of jobs but all involved seeking information to understand. I am keen to learn about what makes us human (or not?)and I like to use too many blanket analogies (see above...) . I am also very comfortable exploring the spiritual elements of therapy and find it a huge privilege if I can assist anyone in helping themselves to heal.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have experience of working in a hospice with bereavement and loss, and a charity where I worked with amongst other issues, loss, trauma, depression, sexual abuse, self-esteem issues, anxiety and several neuro-diverse clients.
I have my own professional personal indemnity insurance and all my I.T. hardware and software is maintained to the highest security standards available, so you are assured of the utmost confidentiality online.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
