A Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Registered Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), located in Wilmslow. I offer a calm, non-judgemental environment with a warm acceptance of whatever you bring. I am passionate about helping you to create balance and become the best version of yourself, free from stresses of the present, anxieties of the future and burdens of the past.
You may be feeling alone or out of sorts, or experiencing an unexplained malaise, worrying too much or not sleeping. Perhaps you are struggling with past issues, relationship problems, or having difficulties understanding what is going on for you that just doesn't feel right. As an Integrative Counsellor, I can tailor therapy to meet your specific needs to help you make sense of why you feel the way you do. I provide a supportive, confidential service, offering a safe, empathic, non-judgemental, accepting space which will enable you with my support to explore personal issues, past experiences and difficult relationships.
Primarily, a person-centred therapist, I work in an integrative way, which means I use various styles of counselling to meet your requirements, goals and needs. Focusing on what is best for you, I provide a supportive, confidential space to explore the difficulties you are experiencing and help bring about the positive change you are wanting in your life.
I welcome you to come, just as you are.
I appreciate making that initial contact can be challenging. To help, I offer a free initial chat over the phone to answer any concerns or questions about the counselling process you may have and help you to decide if I am the right therapist for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

People are individuals who have had life experiences often beyond their control that have shaped them in unique ways. None of us chose our genetic make-up, or the environment we grew up in, which can affect the beliefs we hold about ourselves and have an impact on driving distress.
Reaching out for support takes tremendous courage and a commitment to invest in yourself to work towards the positive changes you want to make in your life. Keeping it together can be challenging at times. No one is immune to the difficulties life throws our way. My motivation to support you as a therapist comes from my genuine interest in you and your life experiences. I appreciate the deep connections made with my clients together with the humbling privilege of sharing what it means to be human in a therapeutic relationship.
