About me

Hi I'm Judith,

Life can throw us challenges at any time and sometimes this can feel overwhelming. People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons; some may want help with specific issues such as relationships, anxiety, low self-esteem, childhood trauma and others may wish to achieve a specific goal.

As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I work with you as an individual, drawing on elements of different approaches to suit your unique circumstances, so that you will feel safe, supported and able to explore whatever has brought you to counselling. By working collaboratively at your pace, you can take those first steps on your journey to a more fulfilling life.

The therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor is crucial to the process and the benefit of private therapy is that it gives you the opportunity to choose a therapist you would like to work with. I offer a free 20 minute introductory call that allows you to ask questions, feel comfortable and decide if this connection is right for you.

I work with Individuals and Couples, face to face from my studio in the peaceful setting of Sharnbrook and also offer outdoor sessions for Walk and Talk therapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • L4 CPCAB Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  • L3 CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Studies
  • Certificate in Couples Counselling

I have extensive experience of trauma based counselling, working with survivors that have been affected by sexual violence.

I have worked as a counsellor within a secondary school.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
