Judith Morland MBACP ( Accredited )
I am an accredited counsellor with over 20 years experience, having worked in NHS Psychological Services and private practice, with adults, couples and young people over 16 years old. I offer short or long term focused work for different issues such as generalised anxiety disorder, stress, panic, relationship issues, depression, family issues, physical illness, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, bereavement and loss
I also have a background in nursing of 38 years.
My experience as a counsellor began initially within voluntary organisations, including the Samaritans and Cruse bereavement services.
After training at Kent University in 1999, I now work integratively, using different counselling approaches including person-centred, pyschodynamic, CBT and mindfulness based approaches. My aim is to work in partnership with you, tailoring my approach to suit your individual needs.
My strength is in providing a calm, safe, empathic space for my clients. I see the relationship between client and counsellor to be the cornerstone for our work together.
I understand that it may seem a big step in contacting a counsellor, so please feel free to contact me with any queries you have, by email ,phone or text 07580459123
I am happy to negotiate concessionary fees, depending on your individual circumstances.
