Dr Judith Green (Senior Accredited and Registered Member of BACP.)
Everyone experiences emotional difficulties or struggles at some point in life. At such times it can be very helpful to talk to someone. Counselling offers a safe and confidential setting in which to explore your difficulties, express some of the emotion surrounding them, consider your options and find a way of moving forward.
I offer both short term and long term counselling to individuals and couples. My practice is generic but includes work on relationships and family issues, bereavement and loss, health concerns, all types of abuse, work related issues, alcohol and substance use, anxiety and depression, personal development.
Prior to embarking on the counselling, I offer a 20 minute, totally free introductory and assessment meeting, where we will discuss how we would work together and discover if we both feel we could form a creative working relationship.
My orientation is Person Centred/Existential. The relationship that will hopefully develop between us will be the medium through which you will be able to make sense of your situation and your feelings and decide upon any changes you wish to make in your life.
I have great faith in this process based on my thirty years of experience and the hundreds of clients with whom I have had the privilege to work.
