About me
If you are going through a difficult time, it could be due to the impact of past experiences or trauma, or it could be that you are going through a period of change or transition. This may lead to anxiety, depression or confusing feelings which can be overwhelming to cope with alone. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where I can help you express and experience your emotions safely through art making.
Sometimes it is difficult to find the words to express difficult thoughts and feelings. Using art materials and words together may make this easier. As a psychodynamic art psychotherapist, I look at how past relationships and previous trauma may influence how you process difficult feelings or anxiety. Feeling able to safely experience emotions in art therapy may help you take a step back from strong emotions and increase your sense of control. You will have the space to think about and express your emotions in new ways, which helps strengthen your ability to manage them.
I work from my studio near Petersfield, Hampshire. If you would like to discuss art therapy with me, please give me a call or email me, and we can organise a time to have a free initial conversation to discuss what you would like from therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Art Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Art Psychotherapy. I am a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). I work with children, teenagers, and adults. I’ve worked with people facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, abuse, behavioural issues, and neurological conditions. My approach is person-centred, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs, and I use psychodynamic principles to explore how past experiences might shape the present.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
