About me

Crisis in life and trauma can affect anyone and sometimes it is difficult to work out what is wrong or make sense of your feelings. You may have tried counselling in the past or this might be your first attempt. Perhaps you are finding it difficult to come to terms with specific changes in your life and have become overwhelmed with the issues you face. I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your emotional challenges without the fear of being judged.

The thought of engaging in counselling might be rather daunting but following our initial telephone contact, you can decide if my counselling approach is right for you.

My main style of therapy in practice is Integrative. Integrative Psychotherapy is not just about the application of tools but the recognition and ability to work with different types of relationships. My counselling experience and expertise is rooted in a medical background.Of significance to my integrative philosophy, is the belief that as individuals we have the capacity and the potential for growth and the achievement of a 'sense of wholeness' which includes ones emotional, mental, physical, psychological and spiritual health.

I have a special interest in Pastoral counselling and issues relating to members of the clergy.
