I provide a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment for you to explore the issues that have brought you to therapy. I am passionate about working with people who are looking for something more from life and believe that with the use of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard we can achieve the targets and goals you want out of life. We will work together at a pace that you feel comfortable with and work with the challenges that are present in your life or however long you have been aware of them.
In my experience as a counsellor i have worked with a broad range of clients with varied issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, loss, family and relationship issues.
I use a integrative approach which means i use varied therapeutic modalities. I believe that every client is completely unique and i feel with my approach i can best fit the clients needs. These modalities include, person centred, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and gestalt therapy.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Diploma in counselling and psychotherapy
BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills.
I have worked as a counsellor at 12 step addiction treatment centre based in London. I also work part time as a counsellor with the NHS.
Personal and professional development is important to me in being able to provide the best service to clients. I receive on going personal supervision and I engage in my own personal therapy.

If you’re concerned about whether you can afford the sessions, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I offer concessions to those with lower incomes or experiencing financial difficulties, however i do have a limited number of these concessions.
I work both short and long term.
It is important that we fit our working together around your needs and goals, long term therapy is extremely supportive but is time consuming and might not fit what you are looking for. Starting with an initial 12 weeks, and then re-evaluating towards the end of this is a practical way of working together. We will agree this in our assessment session together.
