CURRENTLY NOT TAKING ON ANY NEW CLIENTS
Sometimes life is difficult or painful and you want something different, a change for yourself.
Counselling provides room and space to safely explore past or present issues that affect your everyday life. We all have our story, our history that influences the person that we are, and the suffering we may experience. But we can develop new perspectives and insights on what has shaped us as individuals.
I offer a safe, empathic, and confidential space where you can explore, without judgement, your story and any personal issues or difficulties you are experiencing. I will work with you, in your own rhythm, to help you deepen your awareness of your experiences, thoughts, and embodied feelings. This will help you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself, find the root of your feelings and what is going on for you, working towards a more integrated sense of self. The counselling process aims to provide a space for you to discover and explore your way of being and your voice, to help you find your needs and desires that make you feel whole, the person you want to be.
The type of counselling I offer is a combination of Person-centred and Psychodynamic approaches to Counselling and Psychotherapy. This approach puts you and your experiences at the centre of the counselling process. This means we decide together on the process of our work, to meet your unique needs as an individual.
I specialise in attachment, dissociation and childhood trauma but I also have a great deal of experience working with more general trauma, depression, anxiety, sexuality, and relationship issues, as well as the everyday problems people may struggle with.
I offer a free initial consultation of up to 20 minutes by phone or online via video call where we can discuss what you are looking for.
Thank you for considering me as your counsellor.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
