Thank you for visiting my page. I am an experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I have successfully worked with clients dealing with a wide range of issues. Including bereavement, depression, anxiety, abuse, relationship issues and many more.
I am passionate about delivering a high quality counselling service. My experience of working with clients has demonstrated that exploring issues can be extremely useful. I believe that counselling should be available to anyone. This is why I offer limited places on a reduced fee, please contact me to discuss further.
I believe in the importance of feeling truly heard and understood, which can be difficult to achieve within our own relationships. This is why I strive to create an environment so that you, as the client, feel able to share and explore any issues that are concerning you without fear of judgement and within a confidential space. The pace is set by yourself, without any pressure to disclose or explore areas that you are not comfortable with. In my experience, through forming this honest, genuine and trusting relationship the client can often find the resources and answers they are seeking. I am flexible in my way of working, adapting the work to meet with your needs.
I am BACP Registered and abide by their ethical framework for good practice. This ensures that I am practicing safely and effectively.
I work with adults on either a short-term or open ended basis, sessions are for 50 minutes.
I appreciate how daunting the process of finding a counsellor can be, therefore please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like further information of have any questions. If I am not available, I will endeavour to get back in contact within 48 hours.
