I am a qualified Psychotherapist (UKCP and MBACP accredited) with experience of counselling people in a variety of settings. I trained and qualified with an MA in Integrative Art Psychotherapy, at The Institute For Arts In Therapy and Education London.
I have gained invaluable experience working in the NHS and private sector with a range of presenting issues such as:
- eating disorders
- domestic violence
- and anger.
Throughout this process I have felt enormously privileged and inspired to work with many different people from all walks of life.
The Therapeutic Relationship that I develop with each person is fundamental to facilitating a safe, confidential and warm environment. It is an opportunity to explore their internal struggles and address the difficulties that they are experiencing, gaining knowledge and insight, with a view to working towards meaningful change.
From my own experience and that of my clients, life can and does present numerous challenges, some more testing than others. Thoughts, feelings and emotions can become overwhelming, at times leaving us unable to cope, anxious, stuck and more often than not depressed. We can regress into unconscious destructive patterns, which play out as automatic defence responses to each situation, leaving us emotionally exhausted, stuck and confused.

In our first consultation this would give you an opportunity to meet me, explore what brings you to therapy, whether this type of therapy would be helpful and what you would like from it.
This will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions and to see if it is right for you. Following on from this I would conduct an assessment, with a view to offering you a regular weekly session at an agreed day and time.
I charge £45.00 per session. Each session lasts 60 minutes.
