About me

Online/phone sessions only

I am an experienced, qualified Person Centred Counsellor offering Counselling sessions via phone or video call. When seeking support it can feel overwhelming, by offering virtual sessions I aim to help make this as accessible as possible. Enabling you to have your session from the comfort of your own home.

My focus is to help individuals heal, set boundaries and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work in a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental way with you setting the pace and talking about what you want. I have worked in many areas of counselling, with different age ranges. Some of which include Domestic Abuse, Trauma, Depression, Eating Disorders, Substance Misuse and Anxiety.

A few of my qualifications and training include -

Level 5 Higher Diploma in Counselling Practice

Level 4 - Working with Children and Young People

Open University Degree - Open Degree

Working with Self-harm

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
