I am a Qualified Person-Centred counsellor based in Eastbourne.
I believe that every individual has the unique ability to strive and feel acceptance in themselves, you just need to find it. I offer a non-judgemental, safe and congruent environment for you to explore your feelings openly around whatever it may be that is holding you back from feeling like your true self.
You are not alone, together we can work on identifying what may be causing you anxiety, stress or depression. Using the person-centred approach, I will support you on your journey of personal growth.
I understand what it can be like to go through difficult times and with the right environment and relationship you can overcome your challenges and develop an inner strength, leaving you more aware of who you are. Because you are enough!
What to do next:
So, once you have decided to use my services here are the next steps-
Firstly, get in contact with me through email, website or phone. I will respond and give you some information on how I work. Then if you wish to, we can arrange our initial discussion. This is a good opportunity for you to tell me what you might want from therapy. We will also go over the contract and if you wish to continue then we will arrange further sessions.
Currently during this pandemic, I am offering telephone and video sessions. I will update you when I return to doing face to face sessions when it is possible.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
I offer a reduced rate initial consultation at 30 or 50 minutes, this gives us a chance to meet, discuss how we can work together and identify what you would like from our sessions. You will have the opportunity to get a sense of how I work and how you feel about going forward- it is important that you are comfortable and know what to expect.
