About me
I am an accredited Play and Creative Arts Therapist, specialising in working with children and adolescents. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and child - centred environment where theycan express their thoughts, emotions and experiences throughout the natural language of play. By engaging creatively the child can explore their inner world, process difficult experiences and develop healthy coping strategies.
My approach is rooted in empathy, whilst incorporating a variety of techniques tailored to the individual needs of the child. These may include directive and non-directive methods, art based interventions and sand tray therapy, among others. My commitment as a Play and Creative Arts Therapist is to empower the child to navigate challenges and foster emotional well being, whilst working closely with the primary caregiver.
