Joanne Anderson, Advanced Dip. Counsellor
Do you feel anxious, confused or overwhelmed in this time of uncertainty? I'm here to listen and I'm in your corner. You don't have to struggle on alone.
I’m currently offering counselling via Zoom/Skype/Telephone. We can work together to make a positive change to your life. All of my clients say that I’m very calm and easy to talk to.
There are various reasons why a person may benefit from having counselling, such as situations that seem impossible to change or you might want to understand events that happened in your past or present or maybe you need to explore options for a situation that you are facing now...
Sometimes counselling can seem scary, but taking the first step and investing in yourself will make a huge difference to your life and the people around you, so if you feel ready, please contact me to arrange your first session.
I help people with a range of difficulties, but I have a special interest in working with loss, difficult relationships, stress and working with people who are carers.
All of my clients say I’m very calming; which encourages them to relax and share their issues.
Sometimes it's hard to speak to family and friends as you don't want to feel like a burden.. I'm here to listen and offer you a safe, non judgemental space to talk about your issues.
I have worked with clients for over 1.5 years and I have a Private Practice on Canvey Island and I also work from offices based in Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff, Essex.
I work as an Integrative Counsellor which means I use a combination of approaches: Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness. Everybody is individual so I will use the best modality suited to the needs of my client.
