About us
'Joanna Online Therapy' is me, Joanna Yeldham. I’m an accredited psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience.
I see therapy as a joint undertaking. I bring my clinical and theoretical experience and you bring your experience of being you. Each client is unique and so I aim to tailor each therapy to suit the individual.
I offer a free 15-minute video or phone call ahead of any booking so that you can get a sense of me and what it might be like to work with me.
For more information about me and how I work, please visit my website joannaonlinetherapy.com or email me here.
Thank you for reading my profile.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

It’s important you feel comfortable with your therapist. For this reason I offer a free 15-minute video or phone call before you book a session. This way you can get a sense of me and what it might be like to work with me before you commit to anything. It also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have.
