I originally trained as a general nurse [RGN] and following a period of consolidation trained as a psychiatric nurse [RMN]. I have a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have an extensive range of skills and see individuals experiencing a wide variety of emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety and phobic states, bereavement/loss issues, relationship difficulties, individuals experiencing the consequences of childhood abuse and deprivation, stress related difficulties, self esteem and confidence issues.

I presently work full-time in the NHS as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner based in various GP practices and I have worked in the NHS continuously for twenty six years.
