About me

I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist with an accessible private practice in Hastings and St Leonards. People come with all kinds of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and confusion.  Things may have felt not right for a long time, or a recent event may have triggered doubts or questions.  Your sessions will give you insight and perspective to make decisions and feel better.

There may not be others you feel you can talk to openly about what's going on. I give you a confidential space where you can talk freely about whatever's on your mind. Your sessions with me will lead you to a deeper understanding about yourself, your current situation, and your relationships with others so that you gain an improved sense of well-being and clarity.

As a couple you may be unsure if the difficulties you're going through are life's ups and downs, or something more serious. Counselling can help make your relationship more fulfilling, or can help manage your separation and its impact on others if this is the right thing for you.

In the first session, we will discuss and agree how best to work together. Revealing hidden patterns from the past and gaining techniques to manage daily life are both useful. They will start to loosen the hold of unwanted behaviours and bring about change.  Your counselling will start straightaway.

I offer flexible appointments which include Saturdays and evenings. Sessions can be short-term to focus on a specific concern, or longer-term allowing more time in a non-judgemental and private environment. Video or telephone counselling may fit in better with your working pattern or location, or with managing your disability.
