About me

I am a fully accredited CBT therapist and counsellor with 12+ years experience of working with adults and young people. All my sessions are personalised to meet the needs of the person I am supporting.

If you are an adult experiencing difficulty with general anxiety disorders, OCD, low mood, trauma, loss and bereavement, low self esteem. Please contact me for an initial conversation to see if you feel I can be of help to you.

I also work with children and adolescents (aged 8-18 years). I am currently supporting young people experiencing generalised anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, OCD, low mood, loss and bereavement.

I am also an experienced mindfulness practitioner and can integrate mindfulness based stress reduction and mindfulness based CBT where appropriate.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.


British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.

BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

CBT sessions are 1 hour in duration and include between session link work.

Counselling sessions - fees negotiable.

Prices for children and adolescents are negotiable.

Concessions for older people also negotiated during the intial meeting.

Sessions will be held in the Partneriaeth Ogwen, 26, High Street, Bethesda, at a time arranged with myself, by telephone or email.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
