Jo Spooner (BA HONS) Adult and Young Person's Counsellor
Counselling can offer a safe space for you to explore difficult, sometimes painful, life issues that are affecting you and perhaps stopping you from living how you would like to at the present time.
I work from a quiet and confidential counselling room in Surbiton where I provide talking therapy, both long and short term, to adults and young people (13+) with a range of emotional issues such as:
- Stress and anxiety
- Social Phobias
- Feelings of being overwhelmed
- Low self esteem
- Addiction (alcohol, drugs and sex)
As a counsellor, I do not give advice; I provide a space where I can support you in exploring thoughts and feelings in greater depth with the aim to move you forward into a happier and healthier place. The process can be a journey of self-awareness and discovery for many.
I work in a down to earth, compassionate and professional manner offering empathy and support along the way.
